Either way, I am sure that a lot of the schools on the list offer 'good training.' But a degree from the University of North Dakota just isn't going to open the same doors that a degree from one of the aforementioned American schools is going to. But I was under the impression that we were talking about independent conservatories that involve no actual academic classes. And William Esper's studio isn't even on the list.? America has some fantastic programs in actual universities such as Yale, NYU, UCLA, USC, Carnegie Mellon, etc etc (most of which aren't on this NAST list). At least half the list pales in comparison to even the lesser known accredited UK drama schools. Discuss solutions for character enhancement or realization. Discuss the mechanics of acting technique (Adler, Chekhov, Meisner etc.).
